About the Opportunity

WOLF is searching for a passionate and creative full-time Senior Manager, Electronics Production Operations based in Aurora, Ontario.

Reporting to the Vice President of Production Operations, you will play a pivotal role in leading a growing team of multi-discipline engineers, technologists and technicians and overseeing production testing and integration. Your focus will be on driving operational excellence to achieve Wolf’s strategic goals, ensuring efficient manufacturing and order fulfilment.

In this position, you will be primarily responsible for managing day-to-day production operations, optimizing processes, maintaining compliance, and fostering a collaborative, growth-oriented team environment while achieving key performance indicators (KPIs).

More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Leading and developing the Production Test and Integration team through recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and fostering a positive work environment
  • Managing order fulfillment processes, proactively addressing risks to meet delivery targets and customer expectations
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Sales, and Program Management, to resolve configuration issues and align on objectives
  • Driving process improvements to enhance productivity and achieve departmental KPIs, focusing on efficiency and growth initiatives
  • Overseeing lab operations, including maintenance, calibration of equipment, and ensuring compliance with AS9100D and ISO9001 standards
  • Supporting engineering efforts in product testing, validation, and troubleshooting, ensuring staff are trained on new technologies and procedures
  • Facilitating communication and providing regular updates on departmental performance to senior management and stakeholders

About You

To qualify, you will need 5+ years of experience in production, engineering, or manufacturing management leadership roles, ideally with a degree or diploma in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field. While post-secondary qualifications are preferred, your extensive relevant experience in managing production operations and driving team success will be essential.

Eligibility Requirements

WOLF is a military and aerospace manufacturer requiring strict adherence to CGP and ITAR requirements. As a condition of employment, applicants must be able to provide valid documentation to show Canadian or US citizenship or Canadian Permanent Residency and undergo a police check with no criminal background.

The following skills and background will be highly valued:

  • Experience with electronics testing, qualification, or design validation, with the ability to effectively troubleshoot issues
  • Ability to effectively read and understand engineering schematics, specifications, and manuals and to train staff on relevant information
  • In-depth knowledge of production best practices, quality control, and lean manufacturing principles
  • Demonstrated ability to develop high-performing teams through coaching, mentoring, and performance management
  • Familiarity with the AS9100D or ISO9001 Quality Management System, with experience in either environment (asset)
  • Relevant industry-specific experience with VPX (46.x, 65.x), XMC (42.x, 61.0, 88.0), or MXM
  • Experience with NVIDIA and/or AMD GPUs (asset)
