About the Opportunity

WOLF is looking for a full-time Quality Inspector, Electronics and PCB based in Aurora, Ontario.

Reporting to the Chief Quality Officer (CQO), this role focuses on ensuring the quality and reliability of circuit card assemblies (CCAs) and related electronic products through detailed inspections and adherence to industry standards.

In this position, you will be primarily responsible for performing detailed inspections, maintaining high standards of quality, and supporting production processes by addressing nonconformances.

More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Conducting visual inspections of PCBs and modular components to ensure compliance with IPC-Class-3 and AS9100 standards
  • Inspecting incoming and outgoing materials using purchase orders, drawings, and inspection reports to verify specifications and maintain high-quality production standards
  • Identifying nonconformances, performing root cause analysis, and supporting corrective actions to uphold quality standards
  • Approving materials by confirming specifications, conducting inspections, and rejecting (NCR) or returning unacceptable items to production for resolution
  • Signing off on inspection reports and releasing parts to Logistics, Production, or Shipping while ensuring proper documentation
  • Collaborating regularly with Production, Procurement, Inventory, and Logistics teams to resolve quality issues and maintain seamless workflows
  • Protecting corporate IP, systems, tools, data, and customer proprietary information with the highest level of integrity

About You

To qualify, you will need a Secondary School Diploma or equivalent, with an accredited IPC Inspector’s Certification (IPC610), and 2+ years of experience in electronics and production, including IPC Class 3 visual microscope inspection.

Eligibility Requirements

WOLF is a military and aerospace manufacturer requiring strict adherence to CGP and ITAR requirements. As a condition of employment, applicants must be able to provide valid documentation to show Canadian or US citizenship or Canadian Permanent Residency and undergo a police check with no criminal background.

Whilst not needed, background or experience in the following will be highly valued:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in engineering (asset)
  • Experience with AS9100 quality standards and nonconformance resolution
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Power BI, and Excel
  • Ability to use precision tools such as vernier scales, micrometres, pin gauges, and height gauges
  • Familiarity with process mapping tools like Visio and MRP systems
  • Strong technical writing skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Proven ability to follow procedures accurately in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining clear communication with teams
