Your Mission Brief

WOLF is on the hunt for a full-time Director, Production Operations (Electronics Test & Integration) to join our high-performance operations team in Aurora, Ontario.

Reporting to the VP, Operations, you’ll lead the charge in driving operational excellence, scaling production capacity, and ensuring mission success across WOLF’s defence and aerospace manufacturing programs.

This is a pivotal, on-site leadership role where technical precision meets team development. You’ll guide a growing production organization through rapid expansion, building talent, optimizing systems, and ensuring every product that leaves the lab meets the highest standards of reliability and performance.

You are a proven production leader with a strong technical foundation in electronics manufacturing for the defence and aerospace sector. With 10+ years of progressive experience in production, manufacturing engineering, or production test environments, you bring both hands-on operational expertise and strategic leadership. You have successfully managed multi-disciplinary teams in high-reliability, low-volume, high-mix electronics environments, overseeing test, integration, and assembly operations with precision and accountability.

Your background includes a degree in engineering (electrical, computer, mechanical, or related field) or equivalent technical experience. You excel in driving process improvements, meeting production KPIs such as First Pass Yield and On-Time Delivery, and preparing for AS9100 and customer audits. You thrive in collaborative, high-accountability environments where innovation, quality, and delivery converge to meet mission-critical demands.

What You Bring

• Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of electronic assembly, production test, and system integration for ruggedized, high-performance hardware
• Operational Excellence: Proven ability to optimize throughput, yield, and traceability through structured process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives
• Leadership Strength: Skilled in developing, mentoring, and scaling teams to meet growing production demands while maintaining a high-performance culture
• Quality & Compliance Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of AS9100D, AS9145, and AS9102 standards, along with customer and certification audit experience
• Tool & System Proficiency: Experience implementing or managing Aegis FactoryLogix (MES), ERP/PLM systems, and Power BI analytics dashboards
• Testing Acumen: Familiarity with LabVIEW, TestStand, and Python-based frameworks for production testing and data automation
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: History of partnering effectively with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality to resolve constraints and maintain delivery performance
• Configuration Management: Strong understanding of document control, versioning, and change management in regulated environments
• Data-Driven Mindset: Ability to analyze production metrics, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions using structured problem-solving approaches
• Facility Oversight: Experience managing EHS compliance, equipment calibration, and lab layout optimization to support safe, efficient workflows
