Your Mission Brief
WOLF Advanced Technology is on the hunt for a full-time Test Engineer, Advanced Systems to join our high-performance team in Aurora, Ontario.
Reporting to the Vice President, Engineering, you’ll be responsible for developing and implementing advanced test solutions across our product portfolio
This is a hands-on, test-focused role where you’ll be working closely with cutting-edge technologies like FPGAs, GPUs, and high-speed video interfaces. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams to define system-level test requirements, design and develop test solutions, and ensure seamless integration between products and their associated test systems. This role is on-site due to the lab-intensive nature of the work.
As Engineer, Design Verification at WOLF, you might…
- Conduct Product Requirements Analysis: Analyze product and system requirements to understand functional, performance, and compliance needs, and translate them into effective test strategies and solutions
- Test Systems Design: Design robust, scalable test systems that support development, qualification, and production testing, ensuring alignment with product architecture and program objectives
- Custom Test Fixture Design & Build: Design and build custom product test fixtures from concept through implementation, including mechanical, electrical, and software elements, to support development and production testing
- Test Systems Validation & Verification: Plan and execute validation and verification activities to confirm test systems meet defined requirements, are fit for purpose, and produce reliable, repeatable results
- Collaborate across teams: Work closely with design, systems, and validation teams to ensure smooth product integration
- Provide Production Support: Provide ongoing support to manufacturing and operations teams by troubleshooting test system issues, implementing improvements, and supporting production ramp-up and sustainment
- Mentor peers: Share best practices, guide junior engineers, and foster technical excellence
- Drive continuous improvement: Champion process refinements that boost test efficiency and product quality

Your Edge
You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience), with 5+ years of systems test engineering experience.
You ideally have experience with C and/or Python programming, test hardware and software design/automation experience and electronic circuits-analog and digital experience.
Experience working in CGP or ITAR-compliant environments is a plus but not required. We welcome candidates with strong foundational skills who are eager to grow and contribute to mission-critical solutions in a fast-paced and innovation-driven setting.
